Mig’s world wines first opened its doors in 1995 in a small pouchsized shop in Ixelles.
on the Chaussée de Charleroi in 1999. These new premises were decorated by two of Miguel’s talented artist friends, Olivier Damien and Philippe Cardoen. Miguel worked alone for a long time.
Then, since 2001, many important people, devoted and passionate by the wines & spirits universe, came to contribute to the development of this Ali Baba cave, from Régis, through Xavier, Christian, Dorian, Spyro, Eva, LP …
Lucy left after 18 years. Born in New York but raised in Paris and Brussels, Lucy studied oenology at the Ceria in Brussels and with the WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust). She ran the wineshop during all this time.
Patrick left after 8 years. Graduated from the Wine University of Suze-la-Rousse and the Syntra distilling course. He developed the entire range of spirits from 4 references when he arrived to over 500 when he left.
Thierry who’s in charge now, joined the mig’s adventure in 2017. Emeline and Claire in 2021 and eventually Simon in 2022 !
