This week, spaghetti alla putanesca (a sauce made with tomatoes, anchovies, black olives, capers, chilli and garlic).
To accompany this traditional pasta dish from Naples, Thierry chose Fiano di Avellino from Villa Raiano.
A regional accord from Campania ! We're in good company...
The wine is lively, even tense, with an oily minerality, but with
elegance. Aromatically, we find white peach, green apple and a hint of
lemon zest.
It's a perfect match, complementary, very natural, almost perfect...
