LAGERS
Lagers are bottom-fermented beers, the most popular of which is the “Pils” or “Pilsener“.
Generally speaking, it presents a rather neutral profile in aromatic terms and is light on the palate. It is less fruity and less spicy. On the other hand, the aromas of the basic ingredients, i.e. cereals and hops, stand out more.
Lagers are usually served chilled (around 6°) in tall, narrow glasses to concentrate the aromas.
